We recently attended Tyreline in Daventry who is a regular customer to clean all their upstairs office carpets plus the vinyl & hard floor cleaning to the internal corridors and downstairs offices. Due to the nature of their business, the downstairs flooring gets extremely dirty and ingrained to the vinyl which needs deep cleaning using specialist equipment.
Commercial Carpet Cleaning
SleepHaven carry out commercial carpet cleaning to offices, pubs and restaurants in the Northampton, Daventry and Towcester area but go further afield when cleaning the communal carpets to large apartment blocks for some of our commercial clients. Each commercial client has different needs and brings its own individual challenges due to the type of business they run, the type of soiling and the type of carpet we have to clean. Pubs & restaurants normally create a sticky residue with heavy soiling due to grease from the food and beer spills plus the heavy footfall from customers, therefore we generally will use a degreaser to break down the top layer of soiling before giving it a deep clean. Whereas factory carpet tiles are harder wearing and we can be more aggressive with our cleaning method and solutions.
Vinyl & Hard Floor Cleaning
When vinyl & hard floor cleaning it’s important to do your research and tests regarding the type of flooring you are going to clean. As part of your research, you need to ensure it’s wet cleanable, that the joints are sealed and interlocking and possible reaction to moisture or heat. The flooring has to be swept and hoovered thoroughly initially and then treated with a pre-spray and agitated with a Counter Rotating Brush (CRB) machine to loosen the soil. It’s then rinsed off, extracted and then speed dried with a combination of microfibre mops and speed drying with air movers.
