1. Keep Children and Pets Away from the Working Area

For these reasons, we kindly ask that children and pets are kept away from the areas being cleaned until we have finished our work. This helps prevent accidents and allows us to work efficiently without interruption.
2. Remove Valuable and Breakable Items
Before your appointment, please take a few moments to remove any:
- Ornaments and decorative items
- Glassware and fragile objects
- Lamps and small accessories
- Picture frames or valuable keepsakes
Clearing these items from the working area helps protect your belongings and allows us to clean more efficiently.
3. Furniture We Can Move
As part of our service, we’re happy to move many everyday items of furniture, including:
- Sofas and armchairs
- Coffee tables
- Dining chairs
- Small tables
We use specialist furniture sliders to move items carefully while helping to protect your flooring. Some customers have asked if they can have some for their own use, therefore, they can be purchased from our online Shop.
4. Furniture We Cannot Move
For health and safety reasons, we do not move particularly heavy or delicate items such as:
- Display cabinets
- Large bookcases
- Wardrobes
- Beds
- Pianos or similar heavy furniture
Where possible, we’ll clean carefully around or underneath these items to ensure the best possible finish.
5. TVs and Entertainment Systems
Many televisions are connected to games consoles, DVD players, sound systems and streaming devices with numerous cables.
To avoid accidentally disconnecting equipment, we will clean around these areas rather than moving them ourselves.
If you would like the carpet cleaned underneath a television unit, you’re welcome to disconnect and move the equipment before we arrive.
6. Access to Water and Electricity
Our professional carpet cleaning system requires access to:
- A standard electrical socket
- Cold water from a sink tap
We’ll simply use the tap to fill a bucket during the cleaning process, and our equipment will be plugged into a normal household power socket.
7. Clear as Much Floor Space as Possible
If practical, removing smaller items before we arrive allows us to clean more of your carpet and complete the job more efficiently.
Items you may wish to move include:
- Children’s toys
- Shoes
- Laundry baskets
- Small rugs
- Plant pots
- Pet beds
Don’t worry if everything can’t be moved—we’ll work around what’s left wherever possible.
