As both a local business owner and the Men’s 1st Team Manager, this journey has been incredibly meaningful. With the season drawing to a close, I’ll be stepping down from my role as manager, and it feels like the right time to reflect, say thank you, and recognise the people who made it all worthwhile.

Coming from a military background, I’ve always believed in discipline, respect, and teamwork. Throughout my time managing the team, I’ve tried to instil these old-fashioned values and standards—not just to improve performances, but to help shape character.
But beyond that, it’s been about enjoyment. Football should be fun, and the memories created with this group of players—both on and off the pitch—are something I’ll always carry with me.
Looking Ahead
Although I’m stepping away from management, our company’s commitment to supporting the local community remains as strong as ever. Weedon Bec Football Club will always have our backing, and we look forward to seeing the team continue to grow and succeed in the seasons ahead with their new Manager, Nic Robinson.
